YOUR INSTALLATION

From first conversation to first glass.

Your installed proposal defines the equipment and installation scope before work begins.

01 · Confirm the fit

We review water source, household demand, and any relevant testing. Wells and unusual water conditions may need additional assessment or a different system.

02 · Review your proposal

Confirm the exact equipment, kitchen faucet, placement, plumbing connections, site-specific work, selected upgrades, taxes, and complete price in writing.

03 · Prepare your home

Agree on access to the installation area and kitchen cabinet, any necessary utilities or drainage, and the expected water shutoff. Your installer confirms the requirements and timing.

04 · Learn the controls

Ask your installer to show you the bypass, salt checks, filter-care schedule, and who to call for help. Keep your model details, installation date, and warranty documents together.

LIVING WITH YOUR SYSTEM

Routine care, explained early.

Your equipment’s manual and water conditions determine the care schedule.

Softener salt

Check the brine tank and replenish the recommended salt as needed. Use depends on your water hardness, household consumption, and system settings. Ask for an estimate based on your home.

Kitchen RO filters

The RO unit has replaceable filters and a membrane. Confirm the included model, replacement schedule, and cartridge costs in your proposal. A larger tank or higher-capacity unit is a separately priced upgrade.

Filtration media

Media service life depends on the equipment and water it treats. Confirm replacement requirements and whether any maintenance service is included or separately priced.

Ongoing ownership costs

Ask for salt, filter, membrane, and service pricing before purchase. Routine consumables and maintenance should not be assumed covered by an equipment warranty.

COVERAGE BY COMPONENT

Your warranty, in plain English.

Best Home Water supports your equipment and installation directly. Coverage depends on the component:

Media and storage tanks, ceramic valve discs, and system dry parts: Limited lifetime
Control valves, circuit boards, and filtration media: 5 years
Reverse osmosis systems: 1 year
Labor issues from the original installation: 1 year from purchase

Limited coverage applies to the original purchaser and the components fitted to your system. Lifetime coverage lasts while the original purchaser owns the system. Dry parts are non-consumable components that do not contact water. Routine replacements and component-replacement labor are not included.
