Belleview city water or a private well? Start here.
Check the drinking-water provider on your utility bill before choosing a report. The City of Belleview publishes its annual drinking water report through its Water Production & Distribution page. Its 2024 report identifies Floridan aquifer groundwater as the source and chlorine as the disinfectant.
For a City of Belleview customer, that gives us a useful starting point for discussing chlorine taste and whole-home filtration. It does not establish the hardness at your faucet or mean that every home with a Belleview mailing address receives the same supply. If your bill names another provider, use that provider’s report.
If your home uses a private well, begin with results from that well. Tell us whether you notice orange staining, odor, sediment or scale, and whether it affects hot water, cold water or both. Those observations help plan the assessment; they do not replace testing.

Map the house supply before choosing the equipment
Send photos showing where water enters the house, any existing treatment, and the space around the proposed tank location. Identify separate irrigation plumbing or a well used only for outdoor watering. We review which lines should pass through treatment so the plan matches the water you actually use indoors.
For hardness concerns, we review a hardness measurement, household use and simultaneous fixture demand. For chlorine taste or odor on utility water, discuss carbon filtration as its own treatment goal. A combined softener-and-filtration system may address both goals when properly selected; the grain rating alone does not describe filtration performance.
Planning a whole-home and kitchen bundle? The whole-home equipment and salt tank need service access, suitable drainage and power. The seven-stage tankless kitchen RO needs a separate review of under-sink space, cold-water and drain connections, power, and the dedicated faucet position. A tankless design saves the storage-tank space, but still needs room for maintenance.
For a Belleview installation proposal, share your address, water source, equipment photos and preferred timeline. We confirm address coverage and appointment availability, identify any nonstandard work, and explain maintenance and component warranty coverage before scheduling.
